Plasma Fibroblast is sublimating (turning from solid to gas) excess tissue and creating a tightening effect with plasma.
This procedure is not the same as fillers and/or botox. Plasma Fibroblast uses no products on the skin, we only get rid of excess skin and make it look rejuvenated by stimulation of fibroblasts to create collagen in the skin.
The actual procedure is done by creating a plasma flash also known as an electrical arc. This sublimation process creates a discharge from the tip of the plasma devices’ needle.
The plasma needle doesn’t actually touch the skin. Typically there is no blood and the patient feels no pain as we use medical grade numbing agents.
Plasma Skin Tightening is a revolutionary principle of treating the skin.
Know Your Skin Before You Begin
Plasma Fibroblast should only be performed on skin types 1-4
Fibroblasts are the most common cells of connective tissue in the body and are the only cells that can make Type III collagen. Type III collagen synthesizes alongside tougher Type I collagen over a period of about 3 months. Type I and Type III collagen is what helps provide the strength in our skins dense connective tissues and they are famed for minimizing fine lines, wrinkles and micro-furrows and improving the elasticity, suppleness and hydration of our skin.
In a nutshell
The formation of new epithelial tissue becomes visible as tiny carbon crusts which (flake off) within 3 to 7 days post-procedure. These carbon crusts serve as a natural and protective barrier and will flake off naturally as the newly formed and rejuvenated skin begins to appear.
During the process of when the new skin tissue starts to grow the plasma treatment begins working under the skin creating a healing response over the coming 12 weeks. This healing process is dermal remodeling that includes new collagen synthesis and the production of new elastin.
The treated are may become inflamed or swell. The inflammatory response which occurs during the healing process also activates “M2 Macrophages”. These are white blood cells that engulf and digest your skin debris and decrease the inflammation caused by the procedure.
Always keep the area clean to avoid infections until the carbon crusts have formed and exfoliated on their own. You will be provided with aftercare instructions and should follow them exactly as written to ensure the best possible healed outcome
