Does Microblading Hurt?
If I had a dollar for every time I was asked that… I wouldn’t have to microblade anymore– lol
Unlike most microbladers I numb before piercing the skin. Luckily for you all I am a baby when it comes to pain. This causes me to make sure all patients are totally numb to ensure no discomfort. I ask my clients to come in 20 minutes prior to their appointment and I apply a topical anesthetic which starts the numbing process. I then prick the area (which may cause a short, microsecond of discomfort) and apply additional numbing cream and let that sit for 10 minutes. This ensures that you are COMPLETELY numb the entire time and it does not wear off during the blading process.
After the 10 minutes of waiting time, the most irritating part will be the sound of the procedure 🙂
